Your First Visit

Our greatest goal is to help you achieve the healthy, straight, and beautiful smile you have always wanted. We understand that choosing orthodontic care is a big decision, and we respect each patient’s personal reasons for wanting to improve the way they look and feel.

At Montgomery Orthodontics, we will work with you every step of the way to make your orthodontic experience as comfortable, rewarding, and personalized as possible. We use modern technology and offer a variety of safe, gentle treatment options designed to meet your individual needs.

Every Smile Starts with an Initial Consultation

Your initial consultation is an opportunity to meet our team, learn more about orthodontic treatment, receive a complete initial exam, and find out which treatment options may best fit your needs.

During your initial consultation, we will:

-Review your dental and medical history forms
-Perform a complete oral exam, including X-rays, to determine whether treatment is recommended
-Discuss a customized treatment plan
-Review financial information, insurance options, and available payment plans

Our team will be happy to answer your questions and provide the information you need to determine which treatment option is right for you. Please contact our office to schedule your initial consultation.

What Happens After the Initial Consultation?

After your consultation, you are one step closer to achieving the smile you have always wanted. If orthodontic treatment is recommended, we will schedule your first appointment with Dr. Montgomery to begin treatment and place your new orthodontic appliance.

This appointment generally takes about an hour. During this visit, our team will make sure you are comfortable, explain what to expect, and answer any questions you may have.

Scheduling Appointments

Visiting our office approximately every four to eight weeks is an important part of your orthodontic treatment. We will work with you to make your appointments as convenient as possible. When scheduling, please let us know which days and times work best for you.

We also understand that life happens. If you are running late or need to reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible, and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.

When you are ready to schedule your first appointment, please contact our office, and our friendly scheduling coordinator will be happy to assist you. We look forward to working with you.

Visiting the Dentist During Orthodontic Treatment

It is important that you continue to visit your family dentist every six months for cleanings and routine dental checkups, even while you are in orthodontic treatment. If additional dental care is needed, we will be happy to coordinate with your dentist or other dental specialists to help ensure you receive the best possible care.
